“Comic Church” was a weekly two-hour radio show that aired on KTALK Radio in Salt Lake City. Hosted by Drew Reese, known as “Drew the Fairy Godbro,” alongside co-hosts Jesse Stay and Sean Reay, the program explored spirituality, consciousness, and personal awakening. A distinctive feature of “Comic Church” was its use of popular culture and comic book characters to illustrate moral and spiritual lessons, making complex themes more relatable to its audience. Unfortunately, the show ceased production during the COVID-19 shutdown.

The goal of “Comic Church” was to create a space where discussions about spirituality and personal growth could be approached in an engaging and accessible manner. By weaving narratives from comics and pop culture into conversations about moral and spiritual lessons, the show aimed to resonate with a diverse audience, fostering a deeper understanding of complex themes.
